ITBP Constable (Pioneer) Recruitment 2024
The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has announced a recruitment drive for Constable (Pioneer) positions, including Carpenter, Plumber, Mason, and Electrician roles. These vacancies are currently temporary but may become permanent. Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are invited to read the notification and apply online.

Age Limit (as on 10-09-2024)
- Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
- Maximum Age Limit: 23 Years

i.e., Candidates should not have been born earlier than 11th September 2001 (11-09-2001) and later than 10th September 2006 (10-09-2006).
- Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Physical Standards
Height:
- Minimum Height for all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST) : Male: 162.5cm, Female: 150cm
- Minimum Height for candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belong to the State of Assam, Himachal Pradesh & Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir & UT Ladakh : Male: 165 cm, Female: 155 cm
- All other states and and Union Territories : Male-170 cms & Female-157 cm
Chest (For Male Candidates only):
- Minimum Height for all candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes (ST): Unexpanded 76 cms & Expanded-81 cms
- Minimum Height for candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and Candidates belong to the State of Assam, Himachal Pradesh & Kashmir Region of UT Jammu & Kashmir & UT Ladakh : Unexpanded 78 cms & Expanded-83 cms
- All other states and and Union Territories : Unexpanded 80 cms & Expanded-85 cms
Weight:
- Weight should be Proportionate to height and age
Minimum Medical Standard:
- Eye Sight: Visual Acuity unaided (Near Vision) – Better Eye – N6, Worse Eye – N9, Uncorrected visual Acuity(Distant Vision) – Better Eye – 6/6, Worse Eye – 6/9
- Refraction: Visual correction of any kind is not permitted for distant. Should be able to read with glasses for near vision only.
PET Standards:
For Male Candidates :
- For PET-Race 1.6 Kms (To be completed within 7:30 minutes. )
- 11 Feet long jump (03 Chances to be given)
- 3½ Feet high jump (03 Chances to be given)
For Female Candidates :
- For PET-Race 800 mtr (To be completed within 4.45 minutes. )
- 09 Feet long jump (03 Chances to be given)
- 03 Feet high jump (03 Chances to be given)
