The Indian Postal Department released the GDS Recruitment Notification on 15 July 2024 to recruit 44228 GDS, BPM, and ABPM. The last date to apply for the India Post GDS is 5 August 2024. After that, the department will release the merit list based on the 10th-class marks.
India Post GDS Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
To apply for the India Post GDS Vacancy 2024, the candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS Category have to pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-. The candidates of SC, ST, and PWD categories are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

The selection for the Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) will be done based on the marks obtained in the 10th class/ matric. The state-wise/ circle-wise merit list will be prepared based on 10th class marks. The selected candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV). After that, the medical examination will be conducted for the final successful candidates.
