Engine Factory Avadi, Chennai has announced a notification for the recruitment of Engineering Graduate Apprentices, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices, and Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices for 2024-25 under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. Fresh graduates and diploma holders from Tamil Nadu who completed their qualifications in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024 are eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted from 9th August 2024 to 31st August 2024.

Eligibility Criteria:
Graduate Apprentices:
- A full-time Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in the relevant discipline.
- A full-time Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline.
- Graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline.
- A full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in the relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:
- A full-time Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Humanities such as BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA, etc., granted by a Statutory University/Deemed University in the relevant discipline and UGC approved.
